Join LKAB and SANIRE for a day of discussions challenging the status quo!
When mining depth in underground mines increase, so do the challenges. Therefore, an entirely new mining method called “Raise Caving” has been developed. This is a major step towards safer and more efficient mines. Raise Caving addresses the rock pressure problems in an active manner, where the provision of stress shadows for bulk mining, and the management of stress and seismicity is essential.
